Improving weather conditions this weekend

San Ignacio, CAYO. Friday, November 6, 2015. Relatively moist and unstable conditions continue to support showery weather at the start of the weekend; but a gradual improvement is on the way.

The general forecast is for cloudy skies on tonight, but Saturday will be sunny with cloudy spells.

Showers at first will be over northern and coastal areas then move to inland areas on Saturday afternoon.

Winds are easterly to southeasterly at 2-15 knots, but will be gusty near thunderstorms.

Sea conditions will be choppy, but locally rough at times.

Operators of small craft are advised to exercise caution.

Low temperatures at day will range from the upper seventies along coastal areas to the low seventies inland. Up in the hills, it will be a cool sixty nine degrees fahrenheit .

On Saturday, the high temperatures will be around eighty eight degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; ninety three degrees Fahrenheit inland and eighty degrees Fahrenheit up at the higher elevations.

Tides on Saturday will be low at 1:14 am, high at 7:28 am and low again at 1:25 pm.

The sun rises at 5:54 am on Saturday. Sunset is at 5:19 pm.

The extended forecast,valid through to Sunday evening is for partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms.
