Missing child believed to be in Belize

San Ignacio, CAYO. Friday, January 8, 2016. TNC: Authorities from Missing Children Society of Canada are appealing for assistance from Belizeans in the location of a Canadian national who is reported to have absconded to Belize with her two and a half year old son.

According to MCSC, Robin LeanneTrockstad-Greenway and two and a half year old Treyson Trockstad-Greenway have been missing since January 5, 2014 and authorities believe that the mother fled to Belize with the child from Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada.

According to a missing person’s flyer that was sent to TNC News, the father of Teryson Troyson Trockstad-Greenway was granted sole custody of the child by way of a Court Order, but the mother reportedly fled with the child in contravention of the Court Order “contrary to Section 282 of the Criminal Code of Canada.”

MCSC says that since her disappearance with the toddler, Robin Leanne-Greenway has been sighted multiple times in Belize and is believed to be residing either in the Spanish Lookout or Belmopan areas of the Cayo district.

The Canadian authorities say Robin could have changed her hair color to blonde and may be going by any of several names including Robin Trockstad, Robin Greenway or Jen Friesen.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Robin Leanne Trockstad-Greenway and Treyson Trockstad-Greenway is asked to call toll-free 001-800-661-6160 or via email to: tips@mcsc.ca.
