Man charged for having sex with teenage girl
A man from Corozal is in trouble with the law after he had sexual intercourse with an underage girl.
Victor Castaneda, 21, a construction worker of San Roman village, Corozal has been arrested and charged for the crime of unlawful carnal knowledge.
The alleged incident is reported to have happened on Friday in Xaibe village.
The 15 year old girl, accompanied by her mother, reported to police that she had sexual intercourse with Castaneda on her own free will at her home in the village.
Police say that a medical examination was conducted and it confirmed that the 15 year old girl was carnally known.
