Mayor Earl Trapp says he is not firing Town Council employees

San Ignacio/Santa Elena Towns. Monday, May 4, 2015. The Mayor of San Ignacio/Santa Elena Earl Trapp was not a happy man today.

That is because a Belize City-based media house broadcast allegations this morning which painted Trapp and his Council in a bad light.

In an interview at his office, Mayor Trapp explained that the reporter’s allegations were “baseless and disappointing” claiming that workers were being fired from the Town Council.

Mayor Trapp says the reporter left some crucial information out of her report.

Mayor Trapp says that he has specific plans for the San Ignacio/Santa Elena Town Council going forward, and he will not let baseless allegations sidetrack him and the work of the Town Council.

    FIRST TIME I SEE SUCH A SENSLESS MAYOR, PLACING ROAD BUMPS WHERE IT IS NOT NECESSARY AND FAILING TO PLACE BUMPS WHERE IT IS NECESSARY.
    BUMPS IS JUST ANOTHER MONEY MAKING IDEA, CAUSING STRESS TO MOTORISTS.
    DO NOT OBSTRUCK THE FLOW OR TRAFFIC WITH UNNECESSARY BUMPS, USE YOUR HEAD AND BUILD SIDE WALKS, SO WE HAVE WHERE TO WALK AND TRAFFIC CAN FLOW FREELY.
    AMBULANCE CANNOT RUSH YOUR MOTHER TO THE HOSPITAL…TOO MANY …TOO MANY BUMPS, STUPID!

      Speed Bumps are needed when there are senseless drivers. If there weren’t then there would be no need for speed bumps!!!!
