Orange Walk man accused of carnal knowledge

There is another case of carnal knowledge to report, this time from the Orange Walk district. 

Police have detained a 36 year old Guatemalan man on suspicion of sexually abusing his stepdaughter. 

The 13 year old girl, accompanied by a child protection officer, went to the Orange Walk police station on Thursday morning to report that her stepfather had sexual intercourse with her last month. 

The girl said that the incident happened on September 22 in Guinea Grass village. 

The teenager says that on October 3, her stepfather again had sexual intercourse with her.

The girl was examined by a doctor who certified that there was no hymen. 

Police have since detained the stepfather pending charges.
