Police investigate murder of Cayo preacher man

San Ignacio, CAYO. Tuesday, April 4, 2017. The murder of San Ignacio farmer and preacher man Florencio Bardalez, has sent shortwaves through the community.
West Vision first reported the shocking homicide on Monday night and today, police confirmed the initial reports and gave further details of the killing.
According to the police report, Bardalez, a 79 year old resident of 17th Street in San Ignacio, was found dead at his farm in Esperanza village around 7:45 pm on Monday.
Police say Bardalez had suffered injuries to his face and head.
The body was taken to the morgue at the San Ignacio Community Hospital where it now awaits a post mortem examination.
Investigations continue to determine who is responsible for this senseless murder.
