Belize City, BELIZE. Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Two police officers serving in Belize City have received public citations for going above and beyond the call of duty.

Officer of the Month awards for November were presented to Corporal Joan Grinage of the Criminal Investigation Branch and Constable Ignacio Aguilar of the Tourism Police Unit.

The police press officer says that the officers were selected by their superiors based on their consistent performance, hard work, professionalism, commitment and dedication to service.

Congratulations to the two police officers on receiving the Officer of the Month Award.
